[ since APPARENTLY someone doxxed his ass because of this conversation during the trial, rhys is later going to regret coming into the room, looking pretty beat up and miserable. he's wet from his shower but he's changed into his pajamas now and he's expecting everyone to be asleep by now.

except, of course, alice? is here and awake and rhys doesn't yet know his name is jeff. when he spots him, he'll pause and frown in his direction before coming over -- it's too quiet since the children are probably asleep and veronica is either asleep too or not bothering them. when rhys gets there, he'll look at alice? with a frown. when he speaks, his voice is quiet as to not wake anyone. ]
